If I believe one thing, it’s this: creativity is for everyone.
In her book Big Magic: Creative Living Beyond Fear, Elizabeth Gilbert says, “If you’re alive, you’re a creative person.”
You have endless creative potential within you.
The path of the writer, artist, performer, or entrepreneur can be a joyous one, filled with challenges to overcome and triumphs achieved.
It can also, however, be a difficult and lonely road to walk. Even the most prolific creators can feel stuck, lost, and uninspired at times.
Sometimes the best way to remove blocks, move past your fears, and embrace your unique magic is to have someone help you along the way.
I’m a creative writer, visual artist, and content creator with a master’s degree in creative writing and an eye toward continual growth and professional development.
And as much as I love creating, I also love being able to share what I know and help other creatives make the most of their talents. I’m not “just a writer” — I’ve taught English composition and trained and tutored other writers one on one. In my academic career, I found fulfillment in helping my students write with confidence. But I’ve learned that creativity is more than how well you write.
Over the years, I’ve collected the tools, tricks, and trade secrets for living my best, most creative life. And I want to help you do the same.
My creative consulting services are for creatives of all kinds — writers, artists, and business leaders at every level. And if you want to start or reignite a creative practice and you’re not sure where to begin, I’m here to help.
You’re passionate about writing. Creative writing workshops and seminars have helped you in the past. Now, you’re looking for one-on-one guidance and personalized feedback.
When you work with me, I bring two decades of creative writing education and expertise to your project. I hold a master’s degree in creative writing, and my career has spanned the titles of writer, editor, college lecturer, and writing tutor.
I’ll review your fiction or nonfiction creative work and provide you with notes and edits. As an add-on, we can also meet for a video chat session to discuss your creative work. I’m committed to helping you take your writing to the next level.
